As a therapist specializing in trauma recovery, I approach this issue with a multifaceted strategy that prioritizes both healing and enjoyment. Through a blend of evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I create a therapeutic environment that not only facilitates healing but also encourages moments of fun, play, and self-expression.
By integrating elements of joy and fun into the therapeutic process, I empower clients to not only address their traumatic experiences but also rediscover the pleasures of life. This approach helps to cultivate a sense of resilience and hope, allowing clients to navigate their healing journey with greater ease and optimism.
Ultimately, by embracing both the challenges
and joys of healing, clients can transform their traumatic experiences into sources of strength and growth, fostering a renewed sense of self and a brighter outlook on life.

Originally from the Maritimes, I moved to Toronto recently, fell in love with the city and decided I am sticking around!
I will pet any dog I see on the street.
