Our relationships are often the driving force of our lives. The ways we connect with ourselves and with others can significantly impact our health and well-being.
I am a client-centered and relational therapist. I believe you are the expert of your life and your relationships. I can assist in supporting you to uncover more about your relationship with yourself and those around you.
I work with couples and individuals, both virtually and in-person. I am passionate about educating clients on sex, relational issues, and people-pleasing tendencies.
My hope is that you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move your life in the direction you need.
I am passionate about creating a warm and judgement-free environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to manage the issues that are presenting themselves.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Masters degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University. I also hold a B.Sc. in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Queen’s University. My passion for this field has put me in multiple roles within psychology including administrative support at multiple psychotherapy practices, research, working as a Neurofeedback technician, and volunteering with Telephone Aid Line Kingston, providing support and crisis intervention.
I am trained in several evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Attachment therapy.
Some of my favourite hobbies include playing video games, crafting, going to the gym, reading, and I love to cook and try new recipes.
