Sometimes life starts to feel heavy in a way that’s hard to explain. You might notice your mind doesn’t switch off, past experiences still affect how you see yourself, or you keep finding yourself in the same relationship patterns of overextending, second-guessing, or feeling responsible for everyone else.

It can show up as anxiety that lingers in the background, difficulty setting boundaries, challenges with focus, or a persistent feeling that you’re not quite where you want to be.

I work with people who are navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, self-doubt, and the impact of trauma and difficult experiences. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Therapy offers a place to slow down and understand what’s driving these patterns so they no longer run the show.

Together, we focus on making sense of what you’ve been carrying, shifting patterns that no longer serve you, and building practical strategies you can actually use in daily life, whether that’s feeling more confident in relationships, trusting your decisions, improving focus, or responding to stress in a way that feels more manageable. I specialize in working with trauma using EMDR which can help reduce the intensity of anxiety, shift long-standing beliefs about yourself, and create more space to respond to situations with clarity rather than stress.

Over time, clients often notice they feel more steady, more clear about what they need, and more comfortable showing up as themselves — without the constant pressure to hold everything together.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Ecology from Western University. I am also a certified EMDR therapist.

Before entering private practice, I worked in a psychiatric hospital unit supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, including borderline personality disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, and depression. I have also led youth programs designed to help teens build confidence, reduce self-judgment, and reconnect with their strengths.

I love attending workout classes, reading, playing board games, and spending quality time with family and friends.
