Three of the primary research-based interventions we use are Trauma-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT).

Trauma Focused Therapy

Trauma-Focused Therapy is a specific approach that is built on the understanding of how traumatic experiences impact an individual's well-being. The purpose of trauma-focused therapy is to offer skills and strategies to assist clients in better understanding and coping with their own emotional distress and develop skills that support their children.

IFS Icon

Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS)  is an empirically validated approach used for clients to better understand themselves and their child at a deeper level. IFS believes that the mind is naturally made up of multiple sub-parts with each person's mental system and these parts develop as an interaction between your personality and your life experiences. IFS helps provide a safe space for clients to improve their emotional regulation and relationships, as well as overcome their feelings related to shame and self-esteem.

EFT Icon

Emotion-Focused Therapy is a method that helps clients develop their emotional intelligence in order to become more aware of their emotions and negative behaviour patterns while learning new and healthier ways to approach conflict with their partner. This approach is for new parents and aims to help clients develop a more nurturing and supportive bond with their loved ones.
