Where are you located?
Our office is conveniently located at 44 Victoria Street in downtown Toronto. The main intersection is Yonge Street and King Street. We are a 3 min walk from the King Street subway stop on the Yonge line.
How do I make an appointment?
Please complete the contact form at the bottom of the page or book directly on our online booking calendar here. You can also send an e-mail to Info@starkwellnessclinic.com or call us at 647-250-7479. We will get back to you shortly to set up a 15-minute consultation or to book an appointment based on your availability.
Do I need a physician's referral?
You do not need a physician's referral to book and appointment at Stark Wellness Clinic.
What does an initial session look like?
Your first session will either be in person at our office or online through a secure platform. Confidentiality will be discussed, as it is imperative that you feel safe and secure opening up and feeling comfortable.
The first session will be an opportunity for you to get to know your therapist and discuss your needs and symptoms. You will also work on identifying your goals and discussing the reasons for starting therapy. This session may include a family history or past events that have led to what you are experiencing in the present. Together we will talk about direction and treatment recommendations.
What is your policy for a cancelled or missed session?
We require a 48-hours notice when rescheduling or canceling an appointment. If 48-hours notice is not given, we will charge the full amount of the session missed.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Most insurance companies do provide coverage for Registered Psychotherapist services and Masters of Social work therapists. We suggest that you check with your insurance broker or review your insurance plan for details on what type of coverage you have.
Do you provide video sessions?
Yes. In addition to in-person sessions at our office, we provide the flexibility of video sessions with a secure platform.
